Two men died after the 2-door Mazda convertible they were in caught fire early Saturday morning. Police are still in the process of verifying the identities of the bodies as they were badly burnt.
The incident happened at 4am along Sixth Avenue, towards Bukit Timah.
Civil Defence officers arrived at the scene almost immediately. They took five minutes to extinguish the flames and found the men trapped in the driver and front passenger seats.
The two were extricated and pronounced dead by paramedics at 4.35am. The cause of the fire is still being investigated. How big can the convertible be? Both the door traped? How come both didn't see the fire? Are they drank? Are they murdered?
