Great Refreshing Retail Sales Experiences @ Courts

This is too much...

We saw an All-In-One desktop PC that was on sales last week at Courts Tampines & we head down just an hour after their sales started.

The advisement on the newspaper said that the warehouse sales was on the 2nd floor. We went there but the staff there told us that the item is not on 2nd floor, but on 3rd floor. We went up to 3rd floor IT Dept to check out but the IT staff on 3rd floor instructed us to go to the 2nd floor as all the sale products are there.

We went back to 2nd floor again & ask. Now the same staff shown us where the product is & said that we need to get a ticket for this sales item at 1st floor. Since there are still 4 units left on the shelf, we went to 1st floor counter to get the ticket, but the staff at the counter said they don't have the tickets & they don't usually do unless its on the weekends where there's alot of crowds. We were told once again to go 3rd floor to get the tickets.

After that, we decided not to buy anymore... What a great refreshing retail sales experiences!

On Courts website, they said that "Our Primary Interest Is Yours", but I personally doubt so. Their objective is to ensure customer get what’s best for them. Their product specialists are trained and tested on everything they sell. But how come the staff we met don't know a single thing? Even the product on sales is on the shelf beside him but he don't even notice.

Philips Carnival Sale Is Back

Will Philips Sales have better bargain than the Courts & Harvey Norman Sales for Philips product? Usually, it does, but before you make the payment, have you wonder why its so cheap?

Mainly this is because they are the manufacturer itself, that's why their discounted prices can go beyond Courts & Harvey Norman. Another reason was told by my friends previously working there. When you send your product for repair, sometimes they will replace you with a new set if its beyond repair or they don't have the parts to repair. After they have gotten the parts or manage to repair, they will re-sell it on this fair with huge discount. Although its a recondition set, but they still Honor the full warranty.

Do you know this?

Putting something up for sale on an auction website. You arrange to meet the buyer at an MRT station. One of you is inside the fare gate, and the other is outside. For convenience, you pass the item over the fare gate to the buyer, and he passes you the money.

This is some how a common sighting at MRT stations usually downtown, but do you know that you can be fined up to $2000 for doing that? Under SMRT regulations, it is an offence to conduct a business transaction over a fare gate.

So, if transactions are done by both parties in the paid area or the unpaid area are they allowed?

Fountain Fountain On The Wall, which's the Nices of them all

Of the many, I still prefer the top left one. Its really nice & fit the color theme for my living room, but my fully paid set was sold by Exim Arts staff!

Nothing really catches our eyes till last weekend when this fountain from Astoria Fountain on the left made us wonder abit. I think this will goes well with our SunGod(Orange Color) painted wall so we bought it! Luckily, this is the very last piece & this design only launch 2 weeks back.

So sorry to the lady that we have confirmed to buy her secondhand fountain. Hope that she won't curse us for the rest of the year. She was being nice by helping us to get the bulb replacement so that we can have a complete working fountain when we collect. If not for that, we could have collected her fountain on the very same day we bought this new one.

Can't wait for it delivery on Wednesday...
