Gadget Freak instead of Gadget Addict when you see more & more of your cool cool gadget being powered by another gadget itself.. Sound incredible? Well, just take battery for example.



First we have the normal alkaline battery to power our electronics device, than came the rechargeable Nickel-Cadmium (NiCAD), Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) & Lithium-Ion (Li-ION) battery. Although rechargeable are still the main go green replacement for alkaline, but using a bulky solar charger (Freeloading) now to recharge your rechargeable is so history already.

Now, we are moving into USB charging. Not connecting the USB charger to the USB port, but connection the battery itself directly into the USB port for direct charging. With the fact that our PCs, Laptops or even Netbook is usually connected to the wall supplies, has it ever cross your mind that how much amount of energy is wasted? Instead of wasting those electricity, why not use it to charge USB battery to power other household electronic?
