Putera Island Resort @ Pulau Besar Haunted?

Kosmo! front-paged a report about several chalets in Pulau Besar, Malacca, that had been constructed on a site that is believed to be a large settlement for Orang Bunian (ghouls). Orang Bunian are categorised as creatures from the genie family and tend to divert the journey of ordinary people. They have their own ancient Jawi script and are fond of playing the kompang on Fridays from 2am till dawn.

The resorts, costing millions of ringgit, were built in the 1980s but business failed to pick up despite changes in management. A Van driver who works in the nearby jetty said that this place is keras (haunted). The resort is in a state of neglected although it was fully decorated.
