Police have arrested a 19 years old in connection with an SMS hoax suggesting a possible terrorist attack at the busy Bugis area in downtown Singapore. The text message was being circulated around since Friday night.
Although there was no credible evidence of such an attack, Police said they still took the necessary precautions to enhance security in the area. Police assure the public there is no cause for alarm as investigations showed the SMS was unsubstantiated.
Could it be the terrorist testing water? Remember the story of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf - 狼来了"? This episode is called "The Terrorist Who Cried Bomb"!
