Although tickets are cheap, but that's not the reason for them to make changes as & when they feel like it without any reason given. In their email notification, we can only acknowledge the changes but as to why there's a change, it's not stated. Even their agents mending the call center don't know either!
When we first booked over the internet on 18 Apr, we should be reaching Melbourne at 1040hrs, but later on 5 Aug, the departure timing has been changed & we are arriving Melbourne 3hrs plus later than expected. That's not all, the 3rd changes came on 26 Sep & its really too much! The departure time was brought forward from 2320hrs to 2230hrs, but the arrival time remain unchanged.

Was the plane flying slower than usual to save fuel? If this is the case, they should lower the Fuel Surcharge than or refund us since we are paying for it! Best part, all feedback on JetStar need to be mail in, no email or online form. Had already written in but till now no feedback yet. JetStar, This is ridiculous!

Since Snail Mail didn't wake them up, I've sent another eMail to their Sales Dept.
Email to JetStar :
To Whom it may concern,
It has come to my attention that the above mention booking has been changed 2 times within 2 months. I’ve tried calling the customer services but no reason was given for the change in flight timing. I’ve also written-in in late Aug with regards to this but till now there’s no available.

We have already planned our trip & pre-booked our car rental & lodging. It has really created an inconvenience for us & greatly disrupted our holiday plan. It’s really ridiculous that flight arriving was delay by 3 hours & no proper explanation was provided. Base on the email notification sent to us, we can only acknowledge, but cannot query?
As we are frequently on LCC, personally I feel that TigerAirways score better than you guys do.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Regards,
Christopher
This is their reply.. Might as well don't reply :(

Hi,
All flights are subject to schedule changes. There are many reasons why a flight schedule may change, in the case of your flights it is due to operational reasons.
I am unable to provide further details as it is commercially sensitive information.
Please direct any further enquiries to Jetstar Reservations on +61 3 8341 4901.
