After the military coup in Thailand removing Thaksin Shinawatra as the premier, now the people is removing his successor Samak Sundaravej with some lame reason & putting Thaksin's brother-in-law Somchai Wongsawat as their new premier. Will we see another coup again to overthrown this people elected premier again? Since he's closely related to Thaksin Shinawatra. So, can we said that people in Thailand are still supportive of Thaksin - the one that make Thailand economic at it best?
16 Sep is over & does Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim really had enough support to topple the government run by Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's Barisan Nasional? Or its just a Psychological warfare tactic used to create confusion within the government & let it topple from within? Anwar had calls for an emergency no-confidence vote on Prime Minister to deliberate a motion of censure against his leadership. So, what will be the next course of action should an emergency parliamentary session fails?
In Indonesia, although its somehow peaceful for now, but they are moving towards the Philippine style of governing. celebrities have been roped in by political parties to run parliamentary elections. As for their capabilities, guess it will not be able to compare to a full spectrum trained politician. And with the prospect of more celebrities in the House, will the legislative assembly suffer from lack of quality debate in passing laws for the country?
We are really living in a troubled world today. Don't you think so?
