One week of reservist is finally over & most of the objective set has been met. The main objective for this low key ICT are GPMG Range & Chemical Deference refreshing. Its a big group of 80 reservist & many familiar faces among them.
21-1-2.. 21-1-2.. IA.. IA.. 1 round in chamber.. Firing the GPMG is so much fun. About 7 to 8 squeeze on the trigger & all the 50 rounds issued was used up. It will more fun if we were given more rounds to shoot in the range, say a full 200 rounds maybe? The more you shoot, the higher the chances of IA (Immediate Action), but lucky there's no IA for me. Also, the scenery where we fire the GPMG is very nice too.
On our first day of ICT, Thailand had issued a warrant for the arrest of their former Premier Thaksin Shinawatra & guess what, when we first saw our FU Com (Fire Unit Commander), we thought that Thaksin reported staying in England is just a decoy, the real Thaksin was here actually serving his reservist in Singapore. Their looks really resembling each other, just like a replica. He is so far the most talkative FU Com I've ever met!
The side objective to have the canteen burger & wu xiang has also been fulfilled. Its still as yummy as it was before, the taste has not changed abit ever since I ORD 5 years ago. But the prices was up by 20 Cent due to inflation.
