Inconsistent deductions on Ez-link card for same bus route

For those users of EZlink card, do you check you deduction constantly?

Someone had found out that fare deducted from the EZLink card is not consistence although it's taking the same bus to work with the same boarding & alighting point everyday.

Fare deducted for the trip by TIBS bus service 853 from Ang Mo Kio Ave 8 near Blk 354 to his workplace at Yishun Ave 2, opposite Yishun Sports Hall was $1.09 on 9 Apr, but the same trip in 8 Apr only cost $0.89. Why? How come 20 Cents more??

I think you should check your transaction records every now & than to see if there's any inconsistency when taking public buses. In the past when i used to take buses, sometimes can see the bus driver keep pressing the machine. Friends told me that its used for keeping track of how many bus-stop the bus had pass. Could it be the driver pressed too much? Hope they are not out to cheat.
