Strong Quake hits Indonesia again this morning

After having an earthquake of 8.4 magnitude, here come another powerful one at 8.3 magnitude just barely 12hrs apart from the first quake. Best of all, it's almost at the same place. This is real bad!!

Tremors were reported in several parts of Singapore at about 8am this morning. The National Environment Agency said an 8.3 magnitude earthquake occurred at about 7:45 this morning in southern Sumatra, approximately 600km from Singapore.

Rafael Abreu, a geologist with The U.S. Geological Survey in Colorado, said the quake on today did not appear to be an aftershock to the 8.4 magnitude temblor yesteray although the centers of both were close together. It's fairly large itself & seems to be a different earthquake.
