Mid Autumn Festival - Its Mooncake again!!

Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration
Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month among Chinese communities worldwide. This auspicious occasion is a time of gathering and reunion for families and friends, many of whom come together to enjoy mooncakes, Chinese tea and appreciate the moon at its fullest. Chinatown greets this festival with a light-up and a bazaar selling mooncakes, pomelos, tea and other festive treats.

Chinese Garden Mid-Autumn Lanterns Festival
The annual Mid-Autumn Festival is also back at the Singapore Chinese Garden and it is going to get brighter this year. The main attraction is a 100 metre-long lantern display called Ocean Party. There are also more than 5,000 individual lanterns forming over 20 marine-themed decorations. The lanterns are made by professional lantern makers from China's Sichuan province.

Admisssion S$12 for adults and at S$8 for children.
