Highest trust level in Singapore Government

People in Singapore trust the Government here more than the residents of any other country trust their government, a new survey of 22 countries has found.

Trust in the Singapore Government was 84%, according to the survey by US-based PR firm Edelman. That is far higher than the global average of 49%, which means fewer than one in two people worldwide trust their own government, on average.

The survey polled 200 people in Singapore and a total of 4,875 worldwide, including the United States, Britain, China and India.

Do you trust our Government? Can 4.8million be represented by just 200 people?

At the same time, there's another news from Edelman. Edelman Public Relations Worldwide has been awarded the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore's (CAAS) PR account worth $500,000 - the contract is for two years.

According to an email statement from CAAS, Edelman is now required to provide services such as strategic PR counselling, media interviews and features, media monitoring and organising PR and promotional programmes.

Edelman will also develop and distribute media releases in overseas markets, as well as arrangements for overseas media visits to CAAS/ Changi Airport.

Coincidence?
