No more to poles for circuit driving test

The four poles which have become synonymous with learning how to park cars will soon be gone. From March next year, trainee drivers will not have these poles to assist them during their driving test. Learners who are taking the Traffic Police driving test before March 1 next year, will continue using the poles for parking.

They should have done that long time ago. By removing the poles, parking vertically or parallel will be more realistic as in day in day out parking environment. Many people had proven that without the poles, they can't park properly as there are no poles to guide them into the correct position.

Hope this will fail more people in the long run than the poles does.

Right, but without the blind spot mirror, hard to see the lot either. So now they must poke their head out to see the lot. Or some like to open door or bring your own blind spot mirror :)
