Thinking of having the chips or feeling thirsty on the train heading to Changi from Woodlands? Better think twice now. The "No Food or Drink" rules is now being put into real action as SMRT had deploy 500 employees on the lookout.
No Eating & Drinking on the Train! A signage in which no commuter will miss, but some just don't bother. Such inconsiderate behavior is really a challenging act that once again telling the world that we Singapore are a "Fine" country. People are complaining that people are ignoring the warning, yet when its put into action, people are complaining that its too hush. What to do with all these people?
If you are caught having food, O-Be-Good, you should be paying the maximum fine of $500 plus CWO. But for drinks, I hope that SMRT & LTA will give chance on a case by case basis. Maybe designate an area on the train for those who really need to drink up, and for mothers, they may sit & feed the baby. You can't expect baby to endure the hunger like grown up kids right.
