Ba Kwa & Nian Gao


Are you ready for some Ba Kwa (Barbequed Pork)? This year, I'm still going for the Lin Zhi Yuan @ Chinatown. Too early to buy? Nope, as we get closer to Chinese New Year, the queue will be longer & in order to clear the queue faster, their standard may drop as there's not much QC (Quality Control) being done. Therefore, it will be best to buy now.

Other than Ba Kwa & Pineapple Tarts, its been a long time since I had my ultimate favourites Fried Nian Gao (Fried Sticky Rice Cake). So, I've decided to make some this year for myself & my wife as she had never tried Fried Nian Gao before.
