This is what you see on almost every car plate that's roaming around Victoria & its truly a place to be at. The place has plenty of nice scenery. The people are helpful & friendly. The food is my only problem as I'm not a fish & chips person, but the sandwich is great!Tired but really enjoying myself driving on the new Nissan X-Trail, crossing cities & towns especially on the Great Ocean Road. Travelled a total of 1400Km, going one big round around Victoria state. The mountains, beaches, sunset & ocean scenery had me took close to 2000 pictures on my camera & a very exclusive video of the Penguins Parade at the Twelve Apostles. The Crown Casino Christmas light show also start on the day we reach Melbourne.
Although the trip is great, there's disappointment too. Our Sunrise Hot Air Balloon flight @ Yarra Valley was cancelled due to strong wind. We are not in time to catch the Triplet Falls & the Otway Fly Treetop Walk when we are @ Apollo Bay. We arrived @ Port Campbell later than expected & all the lodge was already full for the day. Our pre-booked lodge @ Port Fairy was another 90Km drive away, lucky for us that Maxine, owner of Sounds of the Sea Bed & Breakfast took us in for the night. We have also skipped the Mackenzie Falls while we are @ Halls Gap. Back into the City of Melbourne, we have skipped Dockland as well.
A very big Thank You to Marilyn which is currently in Brisbane, Queensland for sending me the Maps. I'll be back again!
