Residents living near Block 163A Gangsa Road woke up to the smell of smoke and burning rubber on Tuesday morning. A blaze that happened around 2am destroyed 52 motorcycles at Deck D on the multi-storey car park.
There were a few explosions during the fire and many car owners were trying to rescue their cars. Some brave and helpful residents were helping to put out the fire as well.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) arrived at about 2:40am and brought the fire under control in 15 minutes. No one was injured in the incident. SCDF is investigating the cause of the fire.
