Emergency rule declared across the capital, but life still go on in Bangkok & I've not push back my plan to visit this interesting city.Having in mind that with all the political turmoil playing out in Thailand's capital damaging the kingdom's economy, hitting its thriving tourism sector, I though there won't be much tourist during this time, but I was wrong. My flight to Bangkok was almost full house tho.
Protesters may have cause many tourist to cancel their trip, but they are really far away from the main tourist area. So its still safe to travel there. What turn me off was the public transport & weather. I was told to "walk yourself" when trying to bargain with the Tuk Tuk driver, and in another scenario, I was being asked to alight in some unknown ally after which I do not agreed to make a stop over at the gem factory for him to get the free fuel coupon. The weather is really humid during the day & was raining for the 3 night stay there.
Overall, its a good trip & had bought alot of stuff for my new home. Will be uploading the photos later, stay tune ya.

收获不少吧?
There's nothing to worry.. he should go. There were more locals in the shopping mall than tourists. Although most of the things are not as cheap as before, but still alot more cheaper than Singapore.
收获? Hehe.. leaving SG with 10.4kg & coming back with 33kg Chechin + 7kg hand carry :'P
