A taxi driver was disappointed that his kind deed in helping to pick up a heavily pregnant woman cost him a summon, when he apparently picked her up at a non-pickup point in the CBD area.
The woman was in pain and needed to go to KK hospital urgently. Traffic Officer on motorcycle saw it & followed him along Outram Road, but later made a U-Turn after that. Nearly two months later, he received a letter from the LTA, and realised that he had been sommon for picking up the pregnant woman.
The taxi driver gotten the contact details of the pregnant woman and appealed to the LTA, explaining that he took pity on the heavily pregant woman, so he stopped for her. However, his appeal was rejected.
