New River forming in China

The Meteorological Administration warned that flood prevention efforts were entering a "crucial phase" because heavy rain in the next few days would raise the threat of flooding. Provinces on the lower and middle parts of the river, including Shanxi, Shaanxi, Henan and Shandong were in the most danger.

The Pearl River Delta river network has suffered not only the biggest volume floods in over 50 years but simultaneously also the highest tides in over 10 years. Hope it will not affect the Olympic in the coming Aug.

After experiencing the power of Typhoon Pearl 2 years back, I'm really counting my bless that I'm happily living in this country, putting the ERP aside.
