Police are investigating the murder of a man who was found dead in a two—room flat at Block 508 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8. They were alerted to the case at about 6pm on Saturday.
Police said the man was found lying on the floor in the bedroom with no visible injuries. He was clad in undergarments, and was pronounced dead at the scene at about 6.30pm on 21 Jun. Neighbours were shaken by the incident & was told that the victim was often seen dressed in women's clothes.
Police have arrested a 26 year old Sabahan man in connection with the murder of the 61 year old Singapore Permanent Resident Abdul Khalid Othman. The suspect was tracked down by the authorities at the hotel in the Geylang area.
The suspect will be charged in court tomorrow on 23 Jun with murder.
