Driver versus Designer

Someone has disagrees with the winning seat belt design for school buses by NTU students and he's telling us why.

1. A 3-point seat belt are better than 2-point seat belt.
"Do they know that children like to play with seat belts? No matter if it is a 3-point or 2-point seat belt, if those children are stubborn enough to keep on unbuckling their seat belts do you think it makes any different?"

2. A seat belt which comes with a circuit system installed in the bus that alerts the bus driver when a child is not buckled up.
"Much safer or a NEW TOY for children? Those children will surely be curious and keep on playing because of the beeping sound. Some more if the children keep on buckling and unbuckling, the beeping sound will cause distraction to the bus driver."

3. They call it a good idea?
"Do they know that a long time ago the driver seat of cars have already been installed with that circuit system to alert the drivers to buckle their seat belt? How many drivers really buckle their seat belt when they hear the alert? Even though they know buckling up of seat belt when they drive is a MUST? Even adult can be so stubborn so why children won't?"

Which site are you on? Guess its not that the design is bad, just that the design and conceptualization has a narrow focus. There's always improvement made in the process of developing an innovative design.
