Boy slashed for how he walks

A boy's hand was slashed by a group of nine youths at about 11.45pm last Sunday ( Feb 16) at Tampines Block 217 just because they did not like the way he walked.

According to the boy, the group was armed with parangs, choppers and knives, surrounded him when he was walking home and threatened him, telling him that they did not like the way he walked.

Then, one of the youths used the back of the chopper to hit his back while another slashed the his left hand, causing his muscles, tendons and nerves to be severed.
