What actually happen?? My Mom was at the fire scene when it happen, but she's safe. All she knows was that there's a loud BANG! that set everyone running wild. It has been years that we had encountered such big fire!
The fire devoured 232 stalls at Ang Mo Kio market & food centre in Block 628 at about 9.40pm on 16 Oct. The SCDF arrived within 3min with 40 firefighters in 12 fire-fighting vehicles after receiving a call. They began dousing the flames from all angles but still unable to save it from the blazing flame.
Now they have a good reason to renovate it like other markets & food centre around Ang Mo Kio, not forgetting a good chances to up the rental as well. So.. What happen? Was it due to electric charge short circuit or LPG gas leaking?
