Did the Police just tried to call someone?

The receiver must be perplexed or even freak out when his SingTel Caller Alert service showed that the Police had apparently tried to call him when his mobile phone was switched off.

The Caller Alert service indicated that he had a missed call from the number "999". So the question, did the police really make the call? Guess the answer is obvious. NO! The police do not contact people using the number 999. They have a separate phone line should they need to make outgoing calls.

Should you call back, you will be the greatest fool around & the one that contribute to the 70% nuisance calls the police received on their emergency line. So the next question, how can this be done? Well, first save a friend name under caller alert. Then call him to sent you a message with all the same wrods. Then you will get the same message.
