Monitor Lizard Crossing @ Sim Lim Tower Junction

On the same day, a Monitor Lizard of about 1.5m was sported crossing the same junction where a terrible accident were to happen later that day around 8!! Is this an ill omen?

Yesterday (9 Sept) at around 6pm, a monitor lizard trying to cross the busy cross junction at Sim Lim Tower! Pedestrians were attracted to the scene and traffic came to a slow down as drivers tried to avoid hitting the lizard.

One brave pedestrian decided to take the matters into his own hands. He used a big piece of white cloth, wrapped the lizard, walked to the nearby bushes and swung it in. Our lizard hero save the day!!
