Microsoft admits Vista failure

Microsoft's Vista really a failure that they have to need to do some serious backpedaling to save itself from total failure? It appear that the world is viewing Vista as another Windows ME failure.

Dell has given up and is now going back to XP installation for their new systems. This is a serious kick in the teeth for Bill & company as other manufactures will soon follow.

The software and driver situation is really miserable and Dell had no choice but to buck the trend. If anyone thinks this is an act of atonement for foisting such a steaming pile on us, think again, it doesn't care about the consumer.

Been setting up Vista PC for the past few weeks & it does has a lot of software / driver compatibility issue. Once the system detect an uncompatibility, setup will be terminated. This is really terrible when you have to leave the PC unprotected against threat from the internet.

What we are seeing is an unprecedented shift of power. It is also an unprecedented admission of failure. Microsoft is in deep trouble.
