What's those commuters queuing for? Freebies giveaway or their daily newspaper "Today"?
About 60 commuters were locked out of Bugis MRT station yesterday morning. According to STOMP, the main gate to the station were still locked even after the first train arrived at the station at 6am. The commuters knocks on the doors hoping to alert the station staff, but they soon realised that he had been sleeping. It was the passengers from the first train that wake him up from his slumber. According to one of the commuter, this had happen 5 times already.
SMRT when contacted reply that they will conduct the investigations immediately & apologise for the inconvenience caused.
