Still under construction "Singapore Flyer" will be completing by March 2008. According to its website, standing at 165m, it is a giant observation wheel, set to become Asia's most iconic visitor attraction. It will provide breathtaking, panoramic views of Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia in it 37 minutes of comfort and luxury air-conditioned capsules ride.
Other than Singapore, Malaysia also launch their own Ferris Wheels "Eye on Malaysia" at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2007. This RM30 million, 60m high ferris wheel will be one of the 50 major attractions introduced by the Tourism Ministry to woo tourists.
Overtaking the London Eye & the Star of Nanchang, Singapore Flyer has topped the world's largest ferris and obsevation wheels chart.
